Parent Survey Results 2011

The annual Casterbridge Parent Survey was carried out in July to enable us to understand from our parents what we are doing well and what we can improve upon.

At Churchfield House, when asked how likely parents were to recommend us we scored 8.4 out of 10. To summarise the findings, 98% were satisfied with the overall experience at the nursery, parents said they love the environment (95% agree), the nursery is clean (91% agree), the quality of resources is good (95% agree) and it prepares children for school (96% agree). Parents said they would like more verbal feedback and our administration could be worked on, we are committed to improving these areas.

Quotes from the Parent Survey:

‘The staff obviously care about the children and are welcoming and supportive. The nursery is well resourced and provides a range of stimulating activities for the children.’

‘The set up of the classroom and education is extremely good and will certainly help with settling in to school.’

‘The management and the staff are amazing – they really care about the children’s well-being and my husband and I are able to go to work assured in the knowledge that our child is being well looked after.’

‘The facilities for the children are very good. The rooms are large and bright. The staff clearly are dedicated to the children and understand how important their job is.’

‘It’s a wonderful place to walk in... My child loves going there and tries to get in when we walk past at weekends.’

‘It’s all about the staff, and the people we have encountered have been excellent. When your child is so young you need to be sure that you have left them with people that will care for them as much as you would yourself.’
